I had a hard time deciding what to do for this post, so I let my beauties in my VIP group vote on their favorite look. I picked 4 inspirations, and it was close. This one only won by one vote! I treated them to a “Live” Facebook Tutorial to teach them how easy it is to achieve it too, I even created a list of everything used so it’s easy to find, check it out: http://bit.ly/2jqIlPH

EYES: As always, I started by applying Motives Eye Base to the entire lid I filled in my eye brows with the Motives Eye Brow Kit and brushed through to soften with a spoolie I wanted to create a sharp line with the eye shadow, so I used some scotch tape and followed my lower lash line angled up towards my eye brow I used the Motives “In The Nude” Palette eyeshadow, starting with “Fawn” using it as a transition color Using a crease brush, I smudged Motives Gel Eye Liner “Little Black Dress” in the outer corners along the bottom tape line. I did the same thing in the inner corner I continued by blending inward with the darkest brown in the “In The Nude Palette”-“Force”, then transitioned to “Espresso”, and also blended into my crease. Using a flat shadow brush and patted “Evening” in the center To add some shimmer and sparkle, I mixed Motives Gem Sparkles “Morganite” with Motives Paint Pot Mineral “Allure” and applied it to the center of my eye lid with Motives Glitter Adhesive For a more bold look, I uses Motives Lashes #113 and applied with the new Motives Glitter Adhesive To give a softer edge under the eye, I apples “Espresso” along the lash line and Motives Luxe Precision Eye Liner “Jet Black” to my water line.

FACE: I applied Motives Liquid Mineral Foundation-“Vanilla Cream” to my entire face and touched up under my eyes with Motives Long Wear Concealer “Light Yellow Undertone I added a little glow by stobing Motives Shimmers “Starshine” Set my entire look with Motives 10 Years Younger Makeup Setting Spray Lips: I lined and contoured using Motives Lip Crayon “Dusty Rose” Followed with Motives Matte Lipstick-Seduced

I really did like this look, and I may just recreate it and have my hubby take me out to dinner!!

I hope everyone has an amazing Valentine's day. I'm going to share my secrets to some bedroom eyes. *wink wink* Starting off with a clean and moisturized face, I apply Motives Face Perfecting Primer all over my face, and then added the Lumiere De Vie Pore Minimizer Serum to the areas that needed it the most, mainly my cheeks and chin. Apply a small of Motives Custom Blended liquid foundation, and lightly contour and highlight using the Motives Mavens Sculpt Series. I, then, brush my Motives custom blend powder, and touch up mycontour with the Motives 3 in 1 contour kit. For the Cheeks, I dusted Motives Pressed Blush in MInk across the apples of my cheeks then add the Motives Shimmer Powder in StarShine to the tops of my cheekbones. For my eyes, I applied the Motives Eye Base all over my lid and set it with Motives pressed eye shadow in Vanilla. From there, I add Summer Glow eye shadow from my lash line to my crease. then blending Stellar and Cappuccino eye shadows to my crease, and adding Stellar to my lower lash line. To give that extra "something- something" I then add mystical to the center part of my lid and Antique Pink under my brow bone. Add some sass with the Lux Precision eyeliner pen, and the new Fiber Lush Mascara and I know my guy won't be able to take his eyes off mine. Finish the whole look off with Motives All Day Liquid Stick in Seduction, and I promise he'll be seduced all night long!

I LOVE date makeup. If I could only do one sort of application it would be to beautify women for dates! I just love it. Its so versatile and different for every woman. Let's Glam it up for Valentines!

Starting with my fav....micellular Cleanser for that soft skin cleanse. I used vitashield eye cream all around my eyes to prep for a seamless concealer. Used my favorite hydrator to pack on the moisture, Cellular Laboratories hand and body cream.

I started with priming my eyes with the Motives eye base and used I Do palette to add sparkle and dimension. The formula of these shades are butterrrrrr!!!! I also used glitter pot in silver to add some glamour in the center of my lid. I warmed up my crease with the rose shade in the My Party Weapon palette as well.

I concealed my under eyes with Motives Concealer in light. For foundation I use Liquid Mineral foundation in Linen. Blushed up my cheeks with blush in Peachy.

Created dimension in my brows with the one and only 3-in-1 brow kit.

Enhanced my lashes with Fiberlush and used falsies in #111.

My lips were completed with Mavens liquid lipstick Seduction!

Finished with some spritz of the 10 years younger spray and I am ready for a date!

I have always had quite a fondness for Valentine's Day makeup looks. When this time of year comes around it is always fun and exciting to let your glamorous side out and bring a little extra sexiness to your makeup look for your special date night! So the look I have shown is a romantic inspired look that draws equal attention to the eyes as well as the lips. Also, no Valentine's Day look is ever complete without a glowing natural complexion to compliment those newly enhanced features.

To start I always do eyes first, and for this eye look specifically I am going for the big, "Dolly Eye", look. So start by basing the eyes, first with a light concealer (Longwear Liquid Concealer - Light) from the crease all the way up to the brow line. Then on the whole lid from lashline to crease, apply a soft gold shimmer cream eye shadow (Luxe Creme Shadow - Gold Dust). Next apply a very generous amount of a white khol pencil (Khol Pencil - Angel) in entire the waterline from inner corner to outer corner. This step is what really gives the big eye look, (if you are a darker skin tone then use a pencil that's a shade or two lighter then your skin tone as white may be too light for you) if you want that big baby doll eye look do not skip this step! Next I start with the lightest tones of eye shadow in the eye design, first from the crease up to the brow bone I applied the light tone from the Motives, "Shape and Sculpt Duo". Then from the Motives Mavens, "Demure Palette", I applied the shade, "Gleam", to the entire lid from lash line to crease as well as the inner corner of the eye.

Next and also from the, "Demure Palette", I applied to the crease but slightly above the shade, "Bare", then in the deepest part of my crease and on the lower lash line I applied the shade, "Lights Out". Finally in the very outer corner of the eye I applied a black eye shadow and blended slightly to the lower lashline (keeping it on the very outer portion of the eye) as well as onto the outer portion of the eye lid and crease. I finished off the eyes with some black eye liner on the upper lash line (Little Black Dress), false lashes, and a generous helping of the, "Fiber Lush", mascara to give lashes a very full voluptuous look!

Now for the Complexion! I prepared my skin using my all-time favorite skin care line, Skintelligence. First cleanse with the Deep Cleansing Emulsion, then follow with the PH Normalizing toner, and end with the Daily Moisture Enhancer. Next I applied the Liquid Powder Foundation with a small stippling brush in the shade, "Cream Beige". After the first light coat, and before powder, apply a light mist of the, "10 Years Younger", setting spray and allow to dry. Spraying this before powder gives that extra long wear and of course a beautiful glow. Then where I needed a little more coverage I dabbed a little more of the foundation and patted in. Next I highlighted my under eyes and T-Zone with a concealer lighter then my skin tone (Liquid Correction Concealer - Fair). Next I set my face with a little translucent powder (Luminous Loose Translucent Powder - Light), bronzed my face with the darker tone in the, "Shape and Sculpt Duo", (I love that that particular color is not very orange which looks much more natural on my skin tone) and finished with a little Custom Blended pink blush. After all is done, mist the face again with the, "10 Years Younger", setting spray.

Now for the topping on the cake, the lips, which for this look we are going for a supple sexy pout!! So first line the lips with a red lip liner that matches the lipstick as closely as possible (Lip Crayon - Retro Red), then follow with the Ultra Matte Lipstick, "Sex Pot", and top the lips with the Mineral Lip Shine, "Rose". I know the whole matte lips are the craze right now, but when you gloss your lips it draws SO much more attention to the lips, and makes them look larger, and so supple, which always adds more sexiness to the look. Since this is for a Valentine's Day date.....why not draw as much attention as possible to that sexy pout?!?!

Eyes:

Eye base Elements Palette Kohl eyeliner in black

Glitter eyeliner in Gold

Fiber Lush Mascara Brow Kit

Face: Face Perfecting Primer Liquid to Powder Foundation in Almond and Golden

Med/dark and Med/light concealers

Translucent Powder in Medium and Light 3-in-1 Contour Kit Lotus Blush

10 years younger setting spray

Lips: Sorry Not Sorry mixed with a little Dark Side liquid matte lipsticks I started with my eyes and used a little eye base using my index finger. I then went in with 4 shades from the Elements palette. I started with the light brown in my crease. I then used the ivory color under my brow bone. I then did my outer crease using the cranberry and dark brown shade. I then filled my lid with the ivory shade. I then lined my upper and lower lash line with the kohl pencil. I added the cranberry and dark brown on my lower lash line. I added the gold glitter on my lid where my crease is. I then filled in my brows using the brow kit.

For my face, I primed with the face perfecting primer to make sure my pores and fine lines were filled. I then placed Almond foundation on the center of my face and put Golden on the periphery of my face, using the Motives sponge to blend it on my face. I then used the two concealers (med/dark, med/light) under my eyes, on the bridge of my nose, and my forehead. I blended that out with the sponge as well. I set my face with a mixture of medium and light translucent powder and then bronzed my cheeks with the 3-in-1 contour kit and then added Lotus blush on the apples of my cheek.

For the lips, I mixed Sorry Not Sorry with a tiny bit of Darkside and applied it to my lips with a lip brush. I set my whole face with 10 years setting spray.

Makeup Artist - Jayme Jo Kauth

After cleansing, toning, and a very healthy amount of the Lumiere de Vie rejuvenation cream I applied my liquid mineral foundation in the shade cream beige with a sponge. I then set it with the loose luminous translucent powder in shade light. I contoured my cheeks with the three in one contour kit followed by the star shine shimmer powder on the top of my cheekbones and Cupid's bow. I popped a little bit of Lust to the apples of my cheeks. Because I cannot seem to live without the Element eyeshadow palette are used that to create my eye, I used the light shimmery shade at the arch of my eyebrow as well as my tear duct, I then mixed the medium brown colors and blended them in my crease I also use them on my lower lash line. I used the dark brown shade to smudge out my upper lash line to create a light smoky effect. The essential eyebrow kit is also one of my favorites, I was a little bit heavier with my shape today to make my brows pop, I finished with mixing the matte lip shades in Darkside and Daddy's Girl to achieve a pretty berry color! I spritzed a little bit of 10 years younger spray all over and I am ready for my daytime date!

Makeup Artist - Rachel Jones

This Valentine's Day, fall in love with the beautiful shades of pink and purple eye shadows offered by Motives Cosmetics. After priming the lids with Eye Base, take Tension to highlight the tear duct and brow bone. Use Paper Doll for the transition shade and Summer Glow on the lid. To keep the look soft and flirty, skip eyeliner and use After Party and Stellar to smudge the eyeliner on the top and bottom. Lashes were curled with a heated curler then set with the new Fibre Lush Mascara.

For my models skin, I prepped with the Perfecting Face Primer and used the Liquid Mineral Powder Foundation in Vanilla Cream for the perfect complexion. I used Flirt for the blush and the contour from the 3-in-1 Contour Kit. Her lips were prepped with 40fy and stained with Guava All Day Liquid Stick. I topped it off with Lollipop for a bit of shine. Everything was set with the No More Shine setting spray!

The perfect palette for the Valentine's Day holiday is the In the Nude Palette. A fusion of muted tones that work beautifully with a neutral or bold lip. I love that you can have fun with the elements of this palette to provoke an alluring look.

I cleanse the face with Skintelligence cleaner and tone with the PH normalizer and the Skintelligence moisturizer to add nourishment to the skin that often gets overlooked during the winter months.

Complexion: Motives Complexion Perfection Primer is great to give s smooth surface for the foundation. For this look, I used the liquid mineral powder in Almond and made sure to buff the foundation in with a beauty blender. Afterwards, I dusted Motives translucent powder in light over the face and set the first layer with !0 Years Younger Makeup Setting Spray. I just love the ease and convenience of the 3 in 1 contour, bronze and highlight kit. I get so much dimension from one palette. Oftentimes, If I'm in a hurry, I can sculpt and add dimension with just one palette that warms any skin tone. Socialite adds a pop of color to my cheeks and my go to highlight in Goddess always delivers.

Eyes: Priming the eyes is a prerequisite to acheve high impact, true color. The In Nude Palette is a perfect pairing for the holidays with the neutral mid tones that give that nude feel. I used the mid tone day color to give definition to the crease. The nightime shimmer was added to the mobile eye lid to give that pop to the eyes.

Lips: Dusty Rose lip liner gave a base to the lips and defined and enlarged the lower ip to match the upper lip. Next, Matte Lip in Tempting was applied to the lips for the pop of color that brings this look together.

Valentines Day is all set and look is complete with this romantic and look.

So I did two date night looks. One more subtle and 1 more of a glam based on a picture. Feel free to use either or both. Here's the first look. Last photo is my client on her date night after our little session.

First look

Skin Prep

1. Spray Skintelligence pH normalizing toner

2. With a synthetic brush I lightly massaged a nickel size amount of Pentaxyl all over her face

3.Applied Face PERFECTING PRIMER to mattefy skin (client gets shiny by end of the day)

3. Because she gets shiny, I choose our Liquid Mineral foundation in Vanilla Cream. Great for oily skin because it starts as a liquid but sets into a powder finish.

Face

1. Set entire face with Neutral Medium pressed powder

2. Contoured nose, cheeks and jawline with Miami Glow

3. Applied a mineral pressed blush on Apple's if her cheeks

Eyes

1. Applied Gold Dust cream shadow all over lower lids. The cream will set and become waterproof. Then I applied the lightest color from our Elements palette on top of the cream shadow to make it really pop

2. Using a tight round brush I applied the soft brown color from the Elements palette in the crease, moving the brush back and forth like a windshield wiper

3. Using either an angle brush or a tight pencil brush, I applied the black shadow on the outer corners in a sideways V pattern

4. Once all your shadows are on take a big round brush and blend from the outside corners of your eyes in towards your nose

Lips

1. Lightly brush on some of the foundation to even out your natural lip color

2. Mixing the Reveal matte lip color with

Guava All day mattes, we got the perfect pink that matched her scarf

3. With the matte lips I don't need to use a lip pencil, instead I use a thin stiff Lip brush and simply line the lips with the lip color. The matte formula prevents any feathering or bleeding, so it stays put All day and into the night. Perfect for Date Nights!!

Second Look

Skin Prep

1. Spray Skintelligence pH normalizing toner

2. With a synthetic brush I lightly massaged a nickel size amount of Pentaxyl all over her face followed by sunscreen

3.Applied Face PERFECTING PRIMER to mattefy skin.

4. To avoid creepy under eyes I applied invisiline under lower lashes, then lightly placed moisturizing additive from our Custom Blend Powder line

3. Because she gets oily, I choose our Liquid Mineral foundation in Almond. Great for oily skin because it starts as a liquid but sets into a powder finish.

Face

1. Set entire face with Medium pressed powder

2. Contoured nose, cheeks and jawline with Miami Glow

3. Applied a mineral pressed blush on Apple's if her cheeks

Eyes

1. Applied Gold Dust cream shadow all over lower lids. The cream will set and become waterproof. Then I applied a Silver eyeshadow on top of the cream shadow, but just in the center of the eyelid

2. Using a tight round brush I applied the soft brown color in the crease, moving the brush back and forth like a windshield wiper. Then using same round brush, I mixed Red Earth and Plum eyeshadows together and brush on slightly above the crease color

3. With a tight small brush I packed on a silver grey shadow on the inner 1/3 of the eyes.

Using either an angle brush or a tight pencil brush, I applied the a black shadow on the outer corners in a sideways V pattern

4. Once all your shadows are on take a big round brush and blend from the outside corners of your eyes in towards your nose

Lips

1. Lightly brush on some of the foundation to even out your natural lip color

2. To balance out this dramatic eye, I chose Reveal matte lip color, and added a slight shine by applying Preciousa mineral lip gloss just in the center

3. With the matte lips I don't need to use a lip pencil, instead I use a thin stiff Lip brush and simply line the lips with the lip color.
